Agamid Drakarum lizardman form 2013 [testing shadings]
Well, it's a quick artwork for me. I supposed to make Agamid's muscles lower than Hotara's or Skaro's, but it's drawn already...sadly
Also, even if the strongest shadings (black areas) are new to me, it's a practice of background shadings and strong lightings from the magic cast. Not only that, but also the anatomy on his arms and thighs and his expression:
Here's new artwork for Agamid Drakarum this year, but he's still the same Agamid (build, color, loincloth), not only his permanent dragon-form. He's not impressed to find anything destroyed on his jungle, while he's casting a magic called "Nature Revival"
The bulge looks a bit small even though he's internal. The sheath is slanted outward a little.
Btw, I experiment on the kind of shading, which is the hardest shadow. The background should be darker, too. What do you think?

EDIT: The shadings from the light source (the magic light on Agamid's palm) should cast the shadows on top part of his hand and arm. Thanks to ReptileCynrik for corrections. ^^
But, it's not final update.

If the palm of his hand is glowing only, the upper side of his hand and arm would have to be black or at least dark... otherwise his arm would be transparent.
You need to understand the concept of light and shading and that a body is blocking the light, too.
In this case, I get the impression that only the lower side of his hand can glow... but then his arm would block the light... do you understand?

Better, but still not entirely correct.
There should be a thin bright line at his right biceps.
Other parts which must be darker:
-) Head (completely dark, but not below the jaw)
-) Left shoulder and arm(half of the arm is dark)
-) Left leg (half of the leg is dark)
-) Chest (upper part darker)
-) Background darker
This should pretty much cover it...

Mhm, yeah. I'm not good enough to do this "hard shading" with black areas, so it takes more practice with this test. I think there are comic books to browse where they use the correct dark shadows.
Okay, Patrick, more parts to be darkened from the light source under Agamid's hand. Thank you ^^
