I don't see a motive behind this.
If we actually wanted a cybunny, we would log onto neopets on cybunny day and get ourselves a real one for free.
If you wanted to make rabbit adoptables, please do not make them identical to neopets and their BASE COLORS.
be imaginative and creative and make up your own designs.

hi!
first, I'd like to thank you for your half-assed assumption about the purpose of adoptables as they relate to neopets, because it really makes for the most valid and helpful of criticisms, because you clearly are absolutely lacking in the subject matter and thus the target audience for this particular submission.
second, adoptables on neopets are significantly different than they are in other art communities such as FurAffinity, deviantArt, etc. on neopets, a person making adoptables usually has a template for a standard adoptable of the species, then alters that template to make one adoptable of each color the pet can be painted. the ones featured above are the example adoptables for the four basic colors, as I've done with my draik adoptables here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11023540/ and my krawk adoptables here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11023644/. because I've started three sets of adoptables, I opted to first do the basic colors, then I'll move on to making the ones for each color.
basic colors are free to use as long as the neopets user links the image back to the petpage where I'll be hosting them.
adoptables of this style are open for trade or, for users who are also on FurAffinity, tumblr or deviantArt, open for a commission price of $2. this is not an option given on neopets itself because, as per the rules, it is illegal to ask for monetary compensation for art.
the fee gets the user an adoptable done by me in the style of, in this case, their cybunny's unique design, as demonstrated by the one I made of my own cybunny, http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11023483/.
regular users of neopets who would be interested in getting an adoptable done would presumably already be familiar with the information above, which is why I didn't feel the need to put it in the description of the submission.

I apologize for my lack of understanding, as I thought you were merely selling generic neopets, I honestly wasn't thinking of Neopet templates. Perhaps say that they are custom TEMPLATES in the artist description?
But, as much as I'd love to leave it at that, it's against Neopet's ToS, and you can be frozen.
They do NOT want people to exchange money in return for art or services.
I'm honestly too lazy to pull it up, but go ahead and post a thread on the Art Forum. You're not allowed to charge money, but you can, however, do art trades or requests.
These are copyrighted creatures that the neopet's staff creative, and it is against the law to make their creation for material gain unless otherwise specified.
Unless you can do this stealthily, you will get caught and get frozen.
But by all means, sell your 'adoptables' for $2 and I wish you the best of luck

because I'm not selling them *on* neopets, I don't see much difference between offering these for commission and getting a different sort of commission done. people get commissions done of their original My Little Pony, Sonic, Pokemon, etc characters all the time, after all.
I don't offer them for sale on neopets, or even advertise their availability for commission anywhere on the website itself. the versions done of generic paints are free to use, or will be as soon as I finish them all.
