3-Planet Conjunction (May, 2013)

When I went camping over the Memorial Day holiday weekend, I had a lot of chances for various astronomical viewing.
One in particular was the conjunction of Venus, Jupiter and Mercury.
Here's a photo of all three! Now, what makes this unusual is not the fact that the photo was taken successfully with my little Fuji FinePix camera, but ... it was the view of Mercury!
Mercury WAS totally a naked eye object at that point, and in the 30 plus years of working this hobby it's the first time I'd EVER seen it naked eye!
Location: Camp Oaks YMCA Camp, Big Bear, California.
Date: Sunday, May 26, 2013
Time: ~ 9:22 PM
Elevation: over 7000 feet above mean sea level.
