Happy 4th everybody! Here's something to drool over. After I found out the closest store was out of cheap hot dog buns, I decided to throw everything into a stir fry with some of the many instant noodles I have stashed in a costco box. xD The end result was something that tasted a bit like hamburger helper, but better. xP
-Instant noodles
-Hamburger
-Hot dogs
-Hamburger seasoning
-Ketchup
-Mustard
-Mayonnaise
-Relish
Cut the hot dogs into discs.
Boil the instant noodles. Drain and put in the fridge until they're cool to the touch. A brief stint in the freezer will also work, but no longer than 15 minutes, after that the moisture will get sucked out and the noodles will be hard as a rock.
You can use a non-stick frying pan over a stove top. But I decided to fire up the charcoal grill and park my carbon steel wok on it.
Start by cooking the ground beef. Add the hamburger seasoning to taste. When the meat turns brown, set aside and throw in the noodles. Drizzle in small amounts of ketchup and mustard until the noodles turn slightly red. Add a few globs of relish for good measure and add the hot dogs. After the hot dogs are mixed with the noodles, push to the side and toss the hamburger back in. Let it sizzle for a minute, then toss everything together until it's all well mixed.
Once parts of the noodles start showing a crispy brown texture, remove from the grill and separate into bowls or plates. Top it off with a little mayo and ketchup.(if there's enough ketchup in the noodles, you can use mustard instead.) Now sit back and enjoy the fireworks.

Keep that bowel of noodles away from me. Far far away from me. XD
I can't stand ketchup. Blame my youngest sister who, over the past several years, would coat so much of her plate in ketchup that the smell lingered even hours later. It was so bad it got to the point where the smell of ketchup makes me nauseous.
