Ryuu can usually be found resting here atop the aptly named Great Dragon Mountain, a shrine that the people from the land below carved into the rockface to honour their protector. Ryuu will rarely leave the shrine as it serves as an ideal lookout point for him to watch over the land, only moving away if he is summoned, senses danger on land or to catch food or water (although the land dwellers often make offerings to him). On a clear day it is possible to see him soaring through the air from time to time.
Hmm, I think this will be my last 'soft' shaded digital piece...it look ok on my monitor but that's because I have the brightness way up high. I'm viewing it on my mobile now and to me it looks cheap and 'dodge and burned'...unless I find a way to drastically improve my digital skills I will stick to cel-shading from now on...
Ryuu and art are mine.

Whaaaat? But Easterns are so slinky and elegant...and have a dog-like face! I dunno...I do love my Westerns (if that wasn't obvious!) but I do love how odd and intriguing Easterns look. Plus they are epic for vore lol. I think the overall consensus is that ALL DRAGONS ARE AWESOME.
Aw thanks Ruff! Somehow I managed to pick a good colour palette, usually my characters are very dark. I think all his colours compliment eachoter...plus green nose and innards :3 I hope to give this guy much more love in the future!

Hehe, they do have their appeal. There have been a few I liked, like Haku from Spirited Away, I've just always preferred Westerns. Ryuu is definitely on the list of cool Easterns though! Pretty sure as you draw him more, you will be helping me discover new reasons to like Easterns...
I look forward to seeing more! =3

I liked Easterns before Spirited Away, but no where near as much as after seeing Haku. I think Haku turned a lot of people onto noodle dragons. I'm aiming to draw Ryuu in the traditional Chinese style one day...it's a look I adore.
Well considering the first EVER time Ryuu appeared was in a vore picture there's bound to be more scenes with him swallowing some helpless creature/A MILLION THINGS AT ONCE. I'm guessing this will please about 90% of my watchers haha...hahaaa

You know me, I usually can't resist drawing fat dragons...but this is a dragon of grace and elegance! Although of course he has not escaped my fat dragon clutches...http://www.furaffinity.n...../view/9356716/
I think with lots of work I may be onto something here...I was working on this across several days so it felt like forever but I don't think I'm pushing myself enough yet. I need to try out new brushes and figure out some sort of filter to slap on top to make it look less...naked. Thanks though!
