The sound of mini explosions going off, and small Frosteyes jump. Shi clings to her mother's fur, excited and scared at the same time. The heat radiating off the fireworks contrast against the cool night air. Diamondstripe chuckles and reassures hir first born that shi won't be harmed. The stubborn cub pouts, stating that shi isn't scared, shi just can't tell when the next one will be going off.
Diamondstripe thinks for a moment as a smile stretches across hir blue face. Shi picks up hir little cub and places hir on hir diamond striped back. Shi looks back at the confused child, and tells hir that shi will squeeze Frosteyes' hand paw everytime shi sees a firework going up, so Frost will be prepared for the abrupt sound. Frosteyes nods with agreement, and with a sparkle in hir cold, still eyes, shi continues to enjoy the show with the rest of hir family.

*yawns* Why is it so early? Can we go back to bed? No! We're going to Anthro Con tomorrow morning and so we needed to post this before the 4th! oh... okay.. I guess thats okay...
Well anyways! Happy *early* 4th of July to all you American furs! I suppose Chakona would have some day where they would do fireworks... if not, then this could be taken on Terra. Diamondstripe's family does live in the US.. or whatever it's called now... I think Oregon or Michigan or something like that..

I have been watching too much anime.
While i find frost eyes cute, i can't help but wonder.
How far you, daimondstripe, would go to help hir see...
