I decided to work on some space art while watching Heroes to help me relax after a long weekend of working on our new house (I just started watching Heroes... it's actually really good).
It's been almost a year since I've worked on spacescapes and I'm a little rusty, but it was fun getting back into it.

The nebula depicted is the Firelance nebula of my fictional galaxy, which is located near the Orson Mining Outpost.
