Yeah, I actually got the idea for this from an rp i did with a friend, where I play a Grapple Grounder (which is a dragon from the HTTYD video games that's sorta-but-not-really canon). Mr Grapple Grounder keeps trying to digest Hiccup but Hiccup is too magical and smart for him. Even when ROCKS. LOL
Toothy's probably too gentle to risk the bone-crackery rocks might inflict. He'd probably rather just bury Hiccup in other food and be all LOOK YOU'RE FOOD AND I CAN GET MY OWN FOOD PURRR.
