They are a nice smooth paper, very good for pencils and markers in my experience. though a bit on the thin side so maybe a scrap of cardstock between pages if you sketch heavy and don't want ghost lines or if you use marker and don't want bleed through.

Yeah I use markers quite a bit, but I've actually been doing the cardstock trick for a while. It really saves, yeah?

It does! In bristol pads or cardstock its not so necessary. and my other sketchbooks are for sloppy sketches I can trace onto better paper with my light board. xD
