These are the the rest of the vehicles.
I walked around and talked to a soldier.
Here is how the conversation went, but this is only what I remember so the words might not be exact, but the content is true.
"So how bad is it in Calgary? - I asked.
"Well downtown is underwater, there are some places completely evacuated." - the soldier responded.
"Is it worse than the one in 2005?"
"There was one in 2005?"
"Yeah..."
"You are telling him this info based by what you read?" - An officer interrupted him.
"Yes sir." - the soldier answered
"You have a Canadian Citizen here asking you a question. What do you represent?" - the officer pressed on.
"The Canadian Army, Sir."
"And what is the Army part of?"
"The Canadian Government, Sir."
Then the officer turned to me and said.
"We are only reserves in case the situation got really bad, we have not been in Calgary so we cannot comment on the situation there."
"Ok, thanks." - then I turned to the soldier and said - "Sorry if I got you into trouble."
Even as I walked away the officer was still talking to the soldier chewing him out, because he responded wrong. I kinda felt bad even though it wasn't my fault.
But then again the army is a country's most important asset, and it's public relations on any scale is vital.
I have never see so much military activity there are even more vehicles than seen in this picture there was even a large heavy truck toving 6 ATVs on a trailer and a front-loader.
