This Aednat (ey -nit) She is a character in a book I am currently writing. She is one of the Royal family :)

Species info:

Sulakae (SOO-La-kai)

Sulakae are a very graceful tribal species, they pride themselves on their appearance and most have a
holier then thou attitude towards other races, they consider them to be lesser beings. In their own society
however, they are very fair and see everyone as having an important role to play in keeping balance

They are impeccable runners, reaching speeds of more then 65mph in short intervals and can maintain a
constant 50mph for more an hour if needed. They also have a very high pain tolerance.

Their skin tone tends to be close to the same for both females and males, and the variation between them
doesn't change much.

Females have brightly coloured long feathers on both their head and their tail. They can range anywhere from
cool colours such as blues and purples to warmer richer colours such as orange and yellow.

Males have dull grey and black feathers. Their tail feathers while still long are not as flowing or full, and their
head feathers are shorter and angled back.

The only similarity in the feathers that both female and male Sulakae have are the two brightly coloured feathers
that grow on the each side of their head. The feathers colour changes depending on their place in society, and is
hereditary:

Royalty - Light Pink
Nobility - Purple
Shaman - Light Blue
Warrior - Red
Hunter - Green
Workers/Artisans/Traders - Yellow
