Trance music written in pelog scale
So I've been reading about the Javanese pelog scale for quite a while now. You can read more info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pelog I decided to experiment by writing trance music constrained within that scale... Not bad, I guess. =P
Note that pelog scale actually has 7 notes, but only 5 are used in actual gamelan music, like a pentatonic scale. Also, this is a Western approximation; actual pelog scale falls outside the Western notation and sounds slightly out-of-tune to people too used to modern 12-note equal temperament.
I wrote this in FL Studio 11 totally from scratch in roughly 7 hours. At the moment, this track has no name yet. Again, expect this track to be completed in the future (hopefully).
