So, Buckminster is probably one of my first "furry" characters/personal avatars. (Tho several more characters of mine were designed before him) and he's gone through quite a few changes and interactions and as such I decided to write up a little backstory for him that somewhat encompasses them all.

What is see of Bucky the cat nowadays is little of what he first used to be. In fact, one could say that what is seen is little more than Bucky's body. The creature in possession of it now is one formerly known as Grim.

Before his demise and ultimate repurposing, Buckminster was a curious, mischievous little cat, straying from home and getting himself in all sorts of trouble. Among his adventures he 'befriended' the spirit known as Grim with his playful antics and the two carried on for a short while together.

Grim's antics, in contrast to Bucky's were much more dangerous and extreme, to bother others and themselves. After a fateful 'accident' with an oncoming train sprung Buckminster from the mortal world, Grim saw an opportunity. Take over Buckminster's body and identity and carry on toying with the world from there.

Taking the name and the new puppet body for himself the new Buckminster set back out in the world to find more souls to bother and torment.
