Depending on where you live, you might consider going to one of those outdoor stores that typically have mounted animals on display. You could take a series of pictures from different angles or just sketch up what you see in person. *shrug* Just an idea I had, thought I would share.

Many years ago, I played with a cougar at a friend's wildlife gallery. The big cat had been brought in as a model for artists and as luck would have it, I was visiting that day.
The cougar and I played for four hours on the floor (cats like me) and when I had to go, it seemed to genuinely feel sad I was going.
I daresay the picture is very, very good.
