Here we have a rather lacking sketch, but I felt the need to upload something to show for what I'm working on.

So it's been 5 years or so since I've felt the urge to create a comic...I didn't do it because I was pretty much afraid I'd fudge up, but hey, it's been 5 years, I'm a recognized artist state-wise and city-wise, and I'm out of school...plus I have a partner in the project. So I need to suck it up and start now....cause I've been overflowing with ideas.

The comic is a modern fantasy; it focuses on two girls, Ruen who is my fursona, and Suki, the fursona of my partner, Katie. Both of the girls are starving artists, Suki is the more dedicated painter and is the only college student and works her ass off, while Rue is more in the workforce of bartending and odd jobs, drawing on the side. Both of the girls have clear cut differences in their personality, you'll decide what those differences are through the episodes.

The entire comic series is to be called Confused Tendencies, reason behind that is due to randomness and utmost confusion that meshes well to create the world and characteristics of each and every character.

But back on the picture...

This sketch is a collab of myself, the figures being drawn by me and the entire background composed of Katie's skill...I feel the need to share because its the evolution of the characters soon to emerge.

Ruen is an ookami, Dave is well...an elf. Ruen is 21 and Dave is 200. Yeah, 'Mrs. Robinson' is kinda left in the dust with this one. Dave is merely a nickname for Daevael, (Likely I messed that up...not really my char, belongs to Robbeh, who is also an editor on the comic, just for ideas though), and our lil Dave is rare in the sense that elves are quite uncommon in the universe of CT. Dave is based off the elven folk within DND (again, he's not my char...Robbeh is a nerd.), and so being so rare and knowing most of history, his profession is a college professor and he teaches history. More of his character will be expressed in upcoming pictures.

So this image is a portrait of the two cuddling in the laundry room. As you can see by the lovely detail of the background, the apartment is crappy and so it is assumed that Ruen is the tennant and Dave is a mere guest. They don't live together, since that's what makes sleepovers so much fun.

As said in the movie Juno, 'Love is when the person loves you for whatever condition you're in...They think the sun shines out your ass."
