That internal wheel well piece ( which houses strut tower ) just bolts onto the frame rail an fire wall.
Still no problem to fix.

Now an Ins co. Might total it because it would cost more to repair than the value of the truck is.

Never said it couldn't be fixed. But most insurance companies have to total it if it's this bad.

I have insurance. They haven't had a chance to look at it yet. Since it's the other driver's fault I shouldn't have to pay a cent. And they're most likely going to total it.

Nah I wasn't on it. Actually it was parked but the lights and motor where still running.

just an FYI to anyone if the damage is greater then half the value of the car an insurance company will total the car in most cases. we had a huge hail storm come threw a few years ago and many early model 90's cars and older where being totaled with no real damage just broken glass and many many dents, do to the damage was more then the car was worth.

Yes. I'm very grateful that she kept me safe and the damage to me was very little. And that's amazing since the airbags didn't deploy!

you would of had more damage if it had, luck was in it was an older one with out the side airbags or it would have.
