Does it still work?

Absolutely! I took it completely apart before doing any of the painting. The only problem I'm currently having with it is that they power switch likes to stick since the two surfaces are so similar and the tolerances are smaller due to the paint. Regardless, I should be able to fix that with either some gentle sanding, or adding something to lubricate it.

I think if I ever find the spare time, I'll probably make a controller or two for it.
