So, there's a piece with myself and
SSJ3Mewtwo in my gallery now. Who'd have thought THAT would have happened, eh?
Honestly, I have to tip my hat to Daniel for being willing to work with me on the content of this kiriban. We had a long chat, and while he might not agree with my ideas on some things, he at least understands them to a degree. So we have Daniel's urge to see transformation situations combined with my desire to "save" other members of my species.
Here we have a fox mage that had gotten a petrification spell off on Daniel, but it hasn't entirely taken hold yet; Lucas has subdued the mage and can be seen here working trying to negate the spell before it would complete - adding to Daniel's natural resistance, granting him a higher "saving throw" so to speak.
Lyso, again, thank you for being so gracious to include me in so many of your freebies (even the ones where I don't think I'll end up getting involved) and Daniel, again, thank you for working with me on the idea here!

Because I have a massive personal issue with a Mewtwo, or Mewtwo off-shoot species like a Mewthree, having a negative fate happen to them or someone close to them where that fate is either permanent, or there is not proper revenge happening to the one who caused that fate.
The more prominent the author, artist, or commissioner, the more other people might see such a work and then think that is the "proper" way to treat Mewtwos, Mewthrees, etc., and the more likely such works are to inspire others to create similar works where such fates happen to Mewtwos and their offshoots.
Daniel is one of the more prominent users of the site, being an admin, a forums moderator, and getting automatic respect from many due to prior military service. From those things combined, there are a number of people who will read, like, and/or promote anything he posts, let alone art or fiction that is legitimately quality - and as much as I loathe to admit it, there's a fair bit of quality in his commissioned gallery.
We - and by "we" I mean the collective of the Mewtwo fandom - still have to worry about Mewtwo's place in history not exactly being certain. Yes, there was a new movie, but it was not of the original Mewtwo, and they seemed to go to lengths to not mention him; higher up on the priority list than that, Sakurai and co. specifically sidestepped the question of whether Mewtwo will be playable or not in Smash 4 - the "who's who" of who is important in all of Nintendo canon, after having been cut from Brawl. With this being the case, there is still the chance that, one way or another, fanwork that others post and are exposed to may be noticed, and taken into account, by people who control Mewtwo's official canon status - Nintendo, GameFreak, the Smash development team, etc. With that being the case, it would do better to have any submission Mewtwos and their offshoots be willing and/or temporary, as to not have the powers that be see the general Pokemon fandom think Mewtwos are something that should be killed, and no longer worth including in their projects.
While the chance of the powers that be looking at one particular fanwork are nearly nil, them seeing a particular category of fanwork, while browsing the internet to see how people feel about Mewtwo right now, is actually a pretty good chance. So I'm going to continue on promoting work in which Mewtwo is powerful, denouncing work in which Mewtwo is shown as powerless (in unwilling situations), and continue to block users who create the latter (with the exception of SSJ3, since he was kind enough to extend this olive branch to me as far as this picture, and while he might not agree with my viewpoints he has shown he at least understands them.)
If YOU want to be that display piece, then by all means - you're not a Mewtwo. But until I know for sure that Mewtwo's place in history as a powerful being that should be revered is cemented (by an inclusion in the Smash 4 roster that is NOT only the NEW form) - I will continue to fight for the Mewtwo species in my own way.

Viva la mewtwo revolution O.=.o well from reading that i can tell you really like mewtwo and all mews alike... and thats kool i didnt like the fact they took him out of SSB brawl and he should come back and i want a pokemon game with him on it again not so much a movie cause i kinda dont wanna walk into to a threater full of kids cause lets face it some of us are old and creepy and i might cry like i did in the frist mewtwo movie. Now reading your reply im kinda getting this vipe that you think im a jerk. So i will end with this i support your mewtwo love i really do i think bull donkey that i havnt seen and mewtwo anything for a while but i do however think you went a little coo coo for cocoa puffs when you worte this so with that i shall now make this place look goood *turns into a smexy display piece*
