Tazzina clearly looks shocked, maybe she loves my camera and wants it for herself ROFL! Either way, she clearly looks surprised and wants to tell me why. Also her eyes, there's something about canid eyes I find very fascinating and mesmerizing. The amber hues are cool-looking.
Despite being "wild", she's very gentle and will not attack adults :P Too bad she's not my pet, but a resident at a local sanctuary, where I intern.

Reminds me of my granddad's and auntie's dogs. One used to be quiet and didn't really like playing with other dogs whilst the other was a pup and loved playing. The pup howls whenever there's a loud noise, a knock at the door or if there's someone he doesn't know in the house. After a while the grown one started copying what the pup was doing, and now loves playing with other dogs, howling at the door and getting belly rubs (he never rolled onto his back for a belly rub beforehand). It's weird in a way how animals learn from each other and copy each other. Dam, those foxy noises must've been cute!
Animals are rather interesting and I like to observe their behavior; I know a happy fox when I see one In fact of the members here (who goes by Foxalbiazul) has a fox named Ron, or Ron Ron named after Ron Weasley, who makes very cute noises when he's happy. Not sure if I can post the link here, so I'll post it, but if he needs me to delete it, that's fine.
Here's the video showing happy fox noises (similar to what Skitter does when she sees me)

That is just so adorable! I want a pet fox more than ever now! That sneeze at the end just made me explode with the cuteness radiating from it, I'm surprised my screen didn't break! The only thing though is Ron Ron biting him, it's obviously friendly/play-biting but still, what would happen if Ron Ron bit down too hard?... Let's not think about that though!
Foxes like to mouth as a means of tactile feeling since they've no real means of feeling objects like people. It doesn't hurt at all and Skitter has done that to me. She knows not to put too much pressure. Foxes rarely bite people as pets, but they need to be trained not to do it too hard. It's a sign of affection.
No problem. Then general consensus is that since foxes and coyotes are uncommon pet material, many still consider them wild creatures. Granted, they still have wild instincts, but rarely pose a threat to humans (adults anyway, kids can't handle being around exotics that well, and could bite them very hard if not careful). I respect their territory and get on my knees to eye level, I let them do the approaching and if they make the first move, I don't want to force them. But they'll do it anyway and then I start talking to them
