The fool leaves the feet of the priestess, her mysterious ways parting the veil for but a moment, letting the fool glance forward. Her journey takes her through fields of crops, along a road toward a bustling empire. When she comes closer to the stone walls, she spies what appears to be an angel standing in a field of wheat. She runs toward the spectacle, parting the crops until she at last reaches a dirt path through the field. The winged woman stands before her and at once the fool recognizes her as royalty, she is the Empress of all around this area.
She is a sight to behold. Ancient in wisdom, beautiful in appearance and laden heavily with child. She wears a gown imprinted with pomegranates and a starry crown above her head.
The fool kneels before her, almost in tears at her presence. This woman feels like her mother, she has a warmth and closeness that spreads over the fool like a warm blanket and for a moment the fool can think of nothing but the soft sound of the breeze brushing through the wheat field brings her back to her senses.
"My Lady, I have been shown my direction and what tools I can use, but how do I start on my journey?"
"You must nurture this new beginning, you must care for it like a child. It is a fragile thing, the start of anything new, and so you must be gentle with it until it blooms. You must be patience with it as it grows, like a plant or a child until it is strong enough. Even ideas run the risk of dying without care and concern..."
The fool thinks on this as she stands and thanks the young empress. They embrace, tender and bittersweet as the fool makes her way down the small path, back to the road and toward the city ahead.
Creativity, creation, growth and nurturing. Motherly and caring
I am really proud of this one. The clouds turned out beautifully and the gown with the pomegranate print that you probably can barely see (if at all) The whole thing is beautiful right down to her pregnant belly.
I might have to make a cloud making tutorial when I get done with this because I'm damn good at it!
