A very cool find in one of my most recent owl pellets!
I had to look around quite a bit on the net to figure this one out, but I found it out finally...
This is the skull of a Kangaroo rat! The lower jawbones are a bit damaged, unfortunately, but I have quite a few wonderful vertebrae (I think some might be tail vertebrae) and what I believe may be a pelvic bone, but I still need to study that.
Anyways, yeah! Owl pellets. I love 'em.
