PCA - Review the Scripts (Paula Commercial Submissions Open)
Hey there folks! ^,^ Here’s another post from me involving my latest works! For thosr of you who missed it here’s the important things…

This picture and little story relates to them… but be sure to read the bottom! This is different from my normal pics and I’m opening up something akin to fan participation with it <w<

Petie sat glumly in the blush chair in one of the Cuddlebutts meeting room, the booster seat barely letting him clear the top of the thick, wooden table in front of him. He looked over the various sheets of paper spread out in front of him, each covered with details for different commercials from the scenes to the setting… the problem was they were all commercials for Paula. The infant girl persona he’d reluctantly agreed to play for the companies new line of infant diapers and products. He’d gotten the right to look at any commercial and veto or demand changes before it was finalizes which was what he was doing now… he just didn’t expect them to have so many already line up!
Next to him Diana bobbled up and down eagerly in the air. The little mew was the bosses daughter, her personal assistant, a part time toddler, and had apparently had a hand in writing a few of these scripts as she blushed and giggled happily reading the piece of paper in Petie’s hands even as he mouthed the words in shocked horror.
“An den Paula happily claps her paws as her mommy pats her new, thick diaper! Cut to next scene where she’s sitting on stage with balloons and confetti as a sash and tiara is put on her saying “Cutest Baby” as the narrator says “Cuddlebutts Infants, extra softness for your special baby” as Paula’s mommy hugs her happily and the camera zooms in on her diapee butt!”
“….”
“Well, wha do yu tink?”
“… I think I’m going into sugar shock…”
“Yay~ So you’ll do it?”
“… only cause it’s the least horrible one so far…”
Now then, as you can see Petie’s reviewing ideas for commercials he’ll be doing as Paula for Cuddlebutts new line of infant supplies. This new line includes…
- Special softer, thick diapers
- Diaper Rash cream
- Baby Powder made for sensitive skin to leave it softer
- Infant Bath supplies like Shampoo and Soap
Of course all of these are tailored towards baby girls, or at least their commercials will be since they feature Paula.
Now then… I’m opening up ideas for commercial concepts!
What I mean by that is if you think you’ve got a cute, embarrassing, silly, or other commercial idea for one or more of these products then note it to me. If I like it then I’ll write it up and feature it in a story where Petie is reviewing and vetoing or suggesting changes to the commercials to make them less embarrassing for him.
There’s a few rules to this though…
- The commercials can feature Momma BUT only Momma. Anyone else would have to be just hands or out of scene.
- The commercials feature an infant and her mommy, there is to be Nothing mature or sexual in them (at least nothing sexual other than a sexy momma bear).
- You CAN do a commercial for something other than the listed supplies, but let me know what it is and how it’s an infant supply when you do.
- The commercial idea can be as detailed or as short as you want. Just so long as you can get the idea you’re going for across.
- These are, above all, Commercials designed to sell products. Being adorable is just their method to do it. If your sending an epic story of Paula beating off martian invaders… good for you but how does that fit into being a commercial? Keep that in mind.
Past that just have fun with this =3 You’re allowed to send in more than one idea so long as you separate them up in the note somehow or use separate notes for them. Just keep in mind I’ll only use the best/funniest/most embarrassing ones for the story though.
And with that I can’t think of anything more to add…

As adorable as showing Petie's baby butt on camera is, any competent director knows you don't need to actually show to drive the point across, implication can do wonders. Under that concept, here's a simple first suggestion for rash cream: Just have a fussy Paula bitter and wailing as his mommy tries unsuccessfully to appease her, a quick voiceover with the product, and cut back to a happy Paula giggling as his mommy plays with her.
