I know it isn't Furry, but I figured the news was worth sharing. No more DOMA or Prop. 8 in the United States ^-^ Seems like this has been a pretty successful Pride Month ^-^

I think it's wonderful that the Court majority realized that DOMA violated the Equal Protection Clause the instant it was written.

Now if they'd realized that Section 4 of the Voting Rights Act had been equally important, the week would be an unalloyed Win.

*sigh* I the land of freedom, we have to take baby steps to attain freedom.
Doesn't the UK give more LGBTQIA rights? Kinda sad how we won our independence from them to have freedom, only to limit the freedoms of every subgroup of people viewed as "lesser."

Although the Proposition 8 ruling was decided in a way that the outcome legally affects only California (not striking down all bans on marriage equality), Amendment One can go screw itself for all I care!
