GOD...DAMN! THAT SPEAR!

I...totally speechless at that spear. Really, REALLY nice prop! Damn, I hope at MFF 2013 my new dragon sage fursuit will be able to get a photo with that!

The same guy who made the prototype you saw at MFF 2012 came through in spades with the upgrade, and the paintwork is a Heather Bruton original. To paraphrase the e-mail I sent to security asking for their okay, I'd sooner get punched in the nuts than swing it at someone and risk damaging the paintwork. She does -awesome- work.

For something that took that much dedication and quality, it'd be a shame to ruin that paintwork indeed. Still, can't get over how magnificent of a spear it is!

Hmm, for AC Dorsai/security...I'm definitely crossing fingers for ya. Especially since that thing is -not- a swing-able prop due to said work!

They have given the okay, as long as I bring it in to the security office first.

The spearpoint and 'hardware' are all layered paper/cardboard and glue, hand-carved and shaped, and then layered with paint and shellac to get the jade and gold finish.
