Not too familiar with Candian Airsoft regulations. I knew clear body replicas that are sold in the states are usually low quality sporting good store replicas. Do they require all replicas to have clear bodies, or only certain ones?

I know what'cha mean. I actually think that Canadian law states that all airsoft guns have to have clear bodies, although you can buy airsoft guns that don't have clear bodies at places like Toronto Airsoft and what-not.

Is it similar to the Orange-Tip policy that the state's have, in that you have to sell them with clear receivers but can purchase an install aftermarket receivers that aren't clear?

You know, I'm not too sure. I know that if you live in Canada and you buy an airsoft gun from the United States, it has to be a little transparent. I'm not sure about directly buying guns in Canada though, although judging from Canadian airsoft websites, I'm guessing you can buy them all black with an orange tip.

In the states, you only need the orange tip in order to sell them legally as a retailer. Otherwise, you are free to change them as you want.

differs from state to state, but most have the law that you need a orange flash hider at all times so that police can tell the difference between a airsoft gun and a real one, when I play the backyard games with friends and shit we play on our land and our rules, so we don't run with orange flash hiders because it sticks out like a sore thumb. XD but we put orange/red tape on them at any other time. about the clear body for canada, I have no idea lol, other than that type of plastic is much more fragile than other types of plastic and most definatly metal.
