i use these, great weapons.

not sure on my paint scheme yet

sometimes finding the scheme is hard for some models, but im sticking with my thousand sons colors. looks good though and you wil find your colors to use

want to do word bearers - so red body, maybe metal/silvery metal parts - black gun bits, maybe, not sure yet

dont forget their gold icons, hell if you can find a screaming demon face to or mod the head as such would be awsomes

how would you paint the word bearer scheme? the man at my local games workshop hasn't got much of a clue and looks to purple or too much of the grey undercoat

Word bearers have a deep red color. I would start with a black primer. and for all the armor that isnt metallic like the spikes and icons and what not, you do one coat of Khorn red base, next step after the red base is on the armor the next phase is all the metalics ie gold and chainmail colors for all the trim, cause it is important for that step to be completed. after all the metallics have been finished you would then go over ther Khorn red base with Wazdakka red but leaving a space between the trim and the wazdaka red letting a bit of the base show through. look at the autocannon between the gold and light blue paint, that that outline is the darker blue base. and thats how i paint my army, the guy who doesnt have a clue yea he doesnt. well you could have also googled word bearer pics too lol and got an idea too
