A good method I've found for deciding names is to take a word associated with your character (or just a random word), spelling it backwards, and getting an idea for a name from there C:

I tried this method and it worked! :D i was with the word "adequate" in mind and when i spelled it backwards somehow the name "Ikeda" came to my mind, so now my puppy have a name! x3

Thanks! x3 coincidentally, i just watched a anime whose the name of the character i like the most is named Ikeda xD
