twas just the right time of year for this. Right now its likely dowsed in snow which would be beautiful in itself. Unfortunately right now I can't afford the trip down there. (blah)

There was a ledge that you can just barely make out the trail off to the right. The ledge followed a number of streams and waterfalls in that area.

There are few photos that really, really move me. This is one. The textures and the sheer wildness of the forest is just incredible. I'd try and be more gushing but I really don't know how to say more than this. Incredible.

;) *grins* Thanks, Its rather amazing though, this is only a few miles from the most popular natural attraction in Oregon, and about 20 miles from a rather large city. Beauty is closer than one might think, if they just look for it. :)

Head on over to northern Oregon! in the same park of Multnomah Falls. Hike from the base up to the top, then deep into the back country. (its a good workout!) I was carrying all my photosupplies, food and stuff for 2 people, and a beefy laptop computer so I could upload the pictures when I maxed out the card I was using.
