put on mask, mask comes to LIEF, and then sprouts crystals all about the neck, sinking in all that dark juju and shit, promptly spreading it all over the body and making them the new King Sombra and CRYSTLALRRLRLLRSSSSSSSS RRRRRRR
couldn't figure out what to do for cutie mark, so used what was available online (even his trading card says cutie mark unknown).
