I think I prefer this version - nothing in the way of that lovely fur. ^_^ Though I suppose a case could be made for boots - pawpad friction burn probably wouldn't be much fun. (Not an issue for lapines, of course, but then, we'd have an awkward time getting traction in the first place =:)
Thank you for the helpful comment. It was quite interesting to raise this question. I recognised that "there is no account for taste", and that I must draw more and more attractive characters. I do want to appreciate those who sent me a comment and faved, both of which gave me an opportunity to let me again ponder over (or contemplate) what the preference would be. I will sit in Zen meditation to analyze it in my brain.
It is a good question. When I started to draw furry arts in the early 80s', I was quite much motivated with some American comics, such as "Looney Toons", "Tom and Jerry", and so on. I was quite impressed with the works by Tex Avery. I think it is the base of my furry artworks.
Since then, I have thought and thought what the cuteness in the furry art is for more than twenty five years. Because of this intensive contemplation, I sometimes have a stomachache at my creation of my own character.

Yay, five times of pounces! The fox has totally melted like butter. As of the background, it is painted with a quite simple method. I went to a running truck and took a picture, which I distorted into a shape of "fisheye lens." This distortion brings a vanishing point. It is very simple, isn't it?
