I hate faving and not letting the artist know why i like this. ANyways the pose screams action i love the perspective and the attitude- also how you shaded it so simply and clean really brings depth to the drawing in a cool way. also love how the hair is a nice crisp clean white from the other grey values - this is amazing! i love all of it!
It's SUPER SOFT. It's strange because it's smooth but doesn't get that plastic-y feel a lot of papers with less tooth get, and it still holds pencil very well, where a lot of smooth paper can be a pain to get dark values on.
I can't speak for all sketchbooks, but the normal ones I've got are very rough in comparison.
