It's fun to design him, though I find it a bit tough to emote outside of body language. Galvin was originally supposed to be 100% synth back in early stages of development, but decided against it for that reason, I need mouths and eyes to emote, so I went with a couple synth parts instead and made Fridge a secondary character
Yes indeed she is named after the mineral, I remember flipping through a 'Rock' book I had as a kid looking for cool sounding names, I've just recycled it for a couple difference characters since then. I think it has a nice, cheesy, "Jem" vibe. Glad you are enjoying the comic and thanks!
