So, this year a new juggernaut has finally made its rumblings heard by the FBA. An elite academy built at the centre of the most up and coming European country in world basketball, so long just providing top players for the national team and the top Spanish elite, since the introduction of boarding schools and a huge momey poured into the academy by a oil baron in the last few years has produced a golden generation that simply cannot be ignored by the FBA. One player appearing at the draft may have been a mere curiosity, but four players from a totally new academy regards the FBA scene has made the US press sit up and take notice!
We will see if the high profiling of these players will transform into high draft picks in 2013, but only time will tell...
Keo Kabat is a grey squirrel (daughter of Dimi), Alejandro Salazar is a prawn/shrimp, Elisa is a ocelot, and Diego is a degu!
