Was joking around with a friend yesterday about how if our souls were animals mine would be a pastel rainbow red panda.
Needed some serious stress relief so here we are!!!
I played with this design for quite awhile and finally settled on this. I didn't want to commit to a single color for the main fur or secondary fur so... white and very light grey to set off the rainbows with a splash of purple to give a HINT of red panda markings.
Like I said... didn't want to commit to a single color and overpower the focal points. <3
I'm getting faster at coloring book...ing. <.<;

too cute for words. I feel like the " light colors not to over power" is such an un-used idea in alot of red panda characters.
Alot of them are just super bold colors, and this is a really beautiful eye relief. And it's not one of those rainbow characters that burn your eyes.

I'm so very happy you like it!! I really wanted to make this design easy on the eyes. I love rainbows but I avoided using them until today. Seemed like everything I did wasn't... cohesive enough.
You're right... for some reason red pandas do tend to be really bold. Maybe it's because they have a bold iconic look irl? FIREFOXES!! Lol. :)
