This comic is the second of the pair of comics super SD fan Imisnew2 paid for me to recreate via Slightly Damned's new Kickstarter. Seeing the new artwork is nice, but these remakes are just as time consuming to make as new pages are!

Lain there in peace, under snow and soft ground,
Is lady Sakido, a new friend I had found.
She gave up her life, my soul she did save,
And so on this eve she lays in her grave.
A fighter, a poet and the substitute mother,
For this poor young demon she knew as a brother.
We all met in hell, and though now we part,
A wonderful friendship in that place did start.
So now laying peaceful beneath winter snow,
With coin in her ear, we now have to go.
Sleep well dear Sakido, with courage you fell,
You were a spark of light in the darkness of hell

I feel so sorry for poor Buwaro.
And I thought the part where Rhea put a coin in her ear was incredibly touching.
I miss Sakido. Like my fursona, she was a flying creature who looked more scary than she actually was and... and we both have black and white stripes...

That song from Evangelion always makes me think of Sakido, and this page in particular, because in the flashback she was so eager to get her wings.
