Like you wouldn't believe! All they have to do is announce that the thing'll output .oggs or .mp3s or .wavs and they'll have me forever. That's wishful thinking on my part, but hey, a man can dream. It'll be nice to not have to have my M01 cartridge around with me everywhere.

The M1 vst doesn't have everything the M01 has, it's quite annoying. The entire 01/W set of presets is missing from the VST, so porting songs over exactly as they sound on the DS has proven problematic. That said, I had not heard about the midi data export and now I'm even more excited than I was before. If only the VST had everything the DS version has... I'd be able to have the stereo sound that is lost when recording from my DS to the PC!
I'm also pretty intrigued by the internet sharing functionality. I'd love to be able to share with other M01 users... I tried being on the M01 forum before but I was too intimidated of the other users. Heh.

I use an audio interface to record since I need to be able to have everything loop precisely, and they hard pan things right or left regardless of if I use stereo or mono jacks.
