Marruk v3 's waldo suit
Inspired slightly by David Brin's dolphin waldo suits in the Uplift series, its a high end utility spacesuit. Given that Marruk essentially is an thylacine with only intelligence modifications, suit gives him human range speech, opposable thumbs, etc in addition to providing protection and life support in a vaccuum. Designed to be worn almost indefinately w/ regular air tank replacements, and topping off the hydrogen tanks to fuel the reactor. Suit can unseal itself and not tax lifesupport systems while in a 'friendly' atmosphere.
Suit consistes of an inner softsuit and an outer hardsuit. Most of the lifesupport an thermoregulation was done by the inner suit, and it provided simple padding. Outer suit had the rest of the systems. Have a picture of the inner suit Im working on currently.

Side Notes On Design:
Im in the process of doing some slight redesigning. Probably exchange the power supply and the MPD thrusters for something less complicated and make some cosmetic changes.
The 5 foot range on the LADAR is a short range, low-res system that ties into the brain that receives input from the vibrisse. Seen animals act funny with their whiskers covered up and thought this would be a way to remedy that.
15mm IMI 'Hunting Eagle' Gyrojet Pistol. Break-open revolver is the 2250 version of the Desert Eagle. Fires guided rocket propelled munitions of various types and targets via the UV laser beneath the barrel. Designed for space, it has no recoil to speak of while proving quite deadly to opponents.
