Okie Dokie, Here is my newest drawing in 33 years ( arrrrgh) cannot believe it. Drawn this afternoon February 2008. I had to get some pointers from the kids, but by the time I got down to the feet I was getting the hang of it all. Wonder what I should attempt next.

Welcome back to being in the swing of things! How could you stay away when we're all having so much fun? XD
Wow! I wish I could draw this well after having been idle for a few years before coming to FA last year.
That's a nearly perfect on-model Bugs Bunny!
Also, I notice the nice line quality. (I'm sensing a trend here in your house... XD ) I'll never understand how people can draw curves so smoothly without the help of a computer. My hand just won't draw without wiggles most of the time. X3
Anyhoo, pretty nice way to restart! What to draw next? Pick another cartoon character you really love!

Ha ha Nice line quality? The lines are what stump me the most. I just submitted the energizer bunny and I could not for the life of me make a perfect circle for the drum so I cheated with a glass to get it round so I could see what I was working with then I went over top of that to make it look less structered. And yeah I usually get all wiggley too untill I learned to put my hand down on the paper lol to steady meself. Had to get Mizzy of course to critique what I was getting wrong with it.
They may have you stumped, but they turned out nice anyway. (Maybe it was the expertise of your tutor? =D )
For me the only way I get smooth curves on my pencil lines is to edit on the computer first, then print it on paper and trace the printout on a light box. X3
I'm not even away of where my hand is a lot of time. I'll have to try that and keep noticing when I lift it off the page....
