Ok Ok Ok Here is my animal attempts. Had enough of doing babies and it was on to animals ha ha. This was my cat Nova, a big ole fat mama cat as black as night. Drew her on March 4, 1980.

Heyyy, I think I've heard about Nova! =D Isn't Nova Tundra's mom? Or was there someone in between? ^_^;
Pretty nice for a realistic looking cat. I haven't tried drawing this realistic myself - it's always toon-style in some way. The only thing that looks a bit odd is the muzzle is a bit flat. But for an "attempt" this came out really nice!

Well no this Nova was the first Nova we had. Tundra's mom was Nova the 2nd, and we lost her when Tundra was just 5 weeks old. We never found her, she snuck out one night and never returned. Yeah I was kind of having trouble figuring out how to give depth to her face, she almost looked like a human-oid? in this pic. Maybe that is where Alex and Zoe got there part human part animal drawings from lol
Ah, okies. Didn't know there was a predecessor!
And that's awful about Tundra's mom. As a cat person I've acquired more than a few gray hairs worrying over the cats here when they disappear for days on end. (And in 3 cases, never returned. )
