Just some close ups and extra details.

This Lapwing doll character has some rather grim origins, but because he can't remember, he's a very chipper, cheery fellow. Part of him can't help but ironically incorporate his old self into his wardrobe:

Rather than a tail, he's planted his ex-fiance's wedding veil on his back side, probably a show of how little he care for her beyond a drunken one night stand.

In his hat he's stuck some razors; friends he had seriously considering running away with if the wedding and becoming a married man at such a young age ha become too much for him.

In his hat band are some small bones that were once his own finger bones before the ring finger of each hand had been removed in the transformation ritual (see more here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10877632/).

As for the beak and facial damage; merely wounds he received early in his stitcher life. Both his eyes are glass, but the damaged, blue one was obtained after a near-second-death experience with some fire and a terrified traveler. He's actually quite proud of that side of his face and extremely vain for it.
