A few hours ago, one of my friends took a few nice photos of me and the Swedish Red heifers who live close to me.

Attitudes here vary a bit. But we have a law in Sweden, called "Allemansrätten" (The right of public access), which means that everyone are allowed to walk everywhere, except in people's gardens, the nearest vicinity of someone's house, and in fields of crops. All forests, all pastures, and all other kinds of land are available for everyone to walk through, as long as one does not disturb, or destroy anything. Areas where rare or endangered birds are nesting are not allowed to access during the nesting period. You're allowed to pick mushrooms, berries and flowers, as long as you don't pick or destroy any endangered species. You're not allowed to take branches off trees... only the landowner is allowed to do that.
It makes it very good for hiking... as you're allowed to put up a tent, basically everywhere for one night, but if it is close to someone's house, you have to ask permission from those in the house first. :)
