Picked up this big guy tonight! He is a white throat monitor I was told he was still small.. Thats a LIE!!! LOL! Thats ok I still love em! The guy I got em from said someone moved into a house and found him left behind hafe dead! They left a rat in his cage the rat chewed some of his finger nails off and chewed on his face abit..
The guy didnt know much bout them but he still took him in to help him! So I found out he was getting ride of em and I jumped on it! He is alittle testy but hes not bad at all lol he is in shed so hes not as nice as hes gonna be after a few baths lol
I am going to take him to the pet store and get him a harness so we can take him out side for some sun an a walk around the park :)
Hes in the small bin cuz thats what he came home in.. Dont have many big bins with good tops so that did for the 5min car ride lol hes in a temp cage now we move in a week an a hafe and will be bilding him a larger cage =D

Yeah I am so excited to have him! I was jumping for joy when the guy txt me back and asked if I could come tonight and pick him up and of corse I was all over that lol
Nice kid just didnt have the time or the space to keep him an for what ever reason hes only got him eating eggs nothing els so I am going to be makeing him up some eggs with some mice and some rats, chiken, bugs and posibly some fish in the next day or two to see if I can get em onto other things.

I love monitors alwas have! I have owned some that are dog tame and some that just wanna tear your face off but they are all awsome animals if you know who to handle them. I do hope you can get one someday you can get small monitors with some great paint jobs that dont take up alot of flore space like this guy dose lol
Should take a look around maybe there is one you can aford to get, keep and care for! You never know till you look :)
