it's not corrupted. it's because it is a .gif image. it's just how FA makes thumbnails from .gif images.

so it seems like with a background like that you'll need like photo shop 1st then an art editing thing like photshop/gimp or whatever folks have I if I'm not mistaken.

i used photoshop CS5 for the whole thing.
but you dont need to get crazy.
ive seen them done with MS paint.

*edit* since this meme. i bought Lav a TV as a gift. but we pretty much only use it as a slide show of furries, when we have guests.

i took the image and made 20 or so different pictures, darkening the image slightly in each one.
then put them together using CS5, and made a .gif from them.
