Created in November during a Music Appreciation course. I had the tune in my head and it just came out. I was fiddling with a program called Cakewalk. It's basically a music editing and writing program. Very good. The tune came out and I created the effects and instrumentation in FL5. Some modifications, a brainwave synchronizer set to mid Delta, was added in Cool Edit Pro.
Cakewalk 7, Fruity Loops 5, Cool Edit Pro v2.

That's fine, everyone likes different parts of it. I have a habit of forcing my music to develop according to my ear and some people like it and others don't. It's a matter of their ear. Sometimes, I do listen to the .mid file over the finalized version. It does have a cleaner perspective to the song.
The asian sound is because I'm using a major pentatonic scale (all the black keys).
As for what I used Cool Edit Pro for, it was what is called a "Brainwave Synchronizer". It pans the sound at a specific frequency. The objective is that if you listen to it with headphones, your mind will synchronize with the oscillations. In this instance, the setting is mid Delta, which are created during sleeping.
