There's video of a coyote fishing in Yellowstone National Park. She catches 3 Cutthroat Trout in the span of 2 minutes. There were people close by, but she didn't seem bothered at all.

Several years ago, while fishing the Au Sable near Grayling, MI--I was met back at my vehicle by a coyote. It was trying to mooch off me, but my stringer was empty. I had earlier given up after a half hour of catching and releasing Creek Chubs. The little wolf may have been watching me.
