A new under painting for an oil study. Practice mostly but I kind of like how the monochrome under painting turned out so I figured I'd post it. These things suffer a bit by the pictures being so close to the canvas, they're really meant to be viewed from a few feet back but I'm too lazy to take the picture and blow it up. The finished product will probably be posted in a week or two unless I do something really funky to it when adding color.
