That is most awesome work and you should be proud of it! The proportions are right on and I'm greatly impressed with the face (those are SO hard for me to try to attempt.) This is a piece that would be nice colored but I respect pencil work very much and you're a master at it obviously.

A most imaginative presentation and the armor is "right on" too.

I put lots of work in drawing his face, really. He is a character of mine nwhom I roleplay and I wanted to make him exactly look like I imagine him.

In the time I started paying attention to my doodles and making them drawings I tried hard to draw human figures and abandoned the animals and anthro-like critters I loved to doodle as a kid. Now I can draw both and I am really proud that I pushed myself so hard. I appreciate your nice words and that you appreciate my art in return! That means a lot to me, thanks!

I love the boots because I invented this type of armor for him - so they are a very personal part of his design. He is a rider warrior and fights from his horse's back. Sitting on a horse and fighting against unmounted foes (which is most likely in the setting of the world we created) it's necessary to protect your legs from harm. Those leather parts that reach over his knees lie on the outside of the legs and when he's sitting they protect his thigh. Because they are made out of leather stuffed with horse's hair, they aren't to heavy and don't bar him from jumping down from the horseback and fighting on his own feet with his sword.

As soon as I have time to draw for my own pleasure again (...god knows when that'll be, there's so much work to do for conventions and stuff! _-_;) I will most likely draw Taj with one of his lovers...he has female lovers so far but I sense the opportunity of giving him a male lover. I am anxious for it! In the world of Edeja, which we invented ourselves - the warriors of the gods are different from normal human beings. The world is medieval but fantastic. For God's Children as Taj is, there is no registration in whom they take as a lover. Society does not look down on them in any case - they are the only hope of their world.
Haha! But Taj is somewhat hetero so far. Poor guy! He misses half of the fun! I will change that soon and surely draw it as soon as I have time.

ah yes - I thought of a design which would protect him while mounted but is flexible enough and not to heavy so he can jump from his horse and fight on his own feet.
