The Millennium Star is a spacecraft designed and manufactured in a distant star system, some 980 light years away from our Sun. The star at the centre of that particular solar system subjects the planets orbiting it to intense gravity and radiation, meaning the surface is almost entirely made of diamonds. Scientists laid claim to the uninhabitable planets and began development to create an infamously well-defended ship.

Due to the treatment the diamonds were subjected to, they made the perfect hull material. Resistant to physical attack thanks to its hardness, and the faceted surface making energy weapons next to useless, the Millennium Star has defences that are second-to-none, and the multiple facets can be positioned to bend light to make it completely invisible at lower velocities. Its offensive capabilities incorporate its design heavily, either scattering beams of energy using the diamond array or using diamond tipped missiles to pierce the hulls of undefended ships (though they don’t resort to that too often).
