A little fighting scene I had in my sketchbook that I wanted to paint for so long.
I am not good with fire, but I think it could have been worse. Thanks to my friend
Nerventee, I learned a new technique for dust, smoke and little flames. I have to buy the right brush in the future, but I think I know how it should work.
This is done with gouache and colored pencils on watercolor paper. The size fits in one of my empty frames. :)
If you come to the Eurofurence this year, you may see it at the art show.
This is only a photo again, but this time,
Joleii was so kind to take it with his good camera.
I took this photo to a copyshop (the cheapest one I could find in my town) and wanted them to make a good scan. On the phone they told me they would take 3€ for 3 of my images. When I arrieved, they wanted 10€ because this one is some cms wider then A3.
Sorry, but I dont pay 7€ more for just some cms. -.-
(And before you coment now: "Buy a scanner, they are pretty cheap today". I HAVE ONE! But a A4 scanner is not able to scan something that is twice as long as the scanning field!)
I know now that is possible to get a single scan of my larger works under 10€ but as long as I dont think that I could get the money back (from print sales or so) I will not throw my money out the window.
The pose of the archer is again referenced by a great photo by senshistock.
I saw the pose and had to draw the sketch to this piece. I altered the pose a bit to better fit my composition.

Ganz grosses Kino
