Cel is a futuristic cyborg character. He was recruited as a patient for cybernetic surgery after suffering third degree burns over a vast majority of his body due to an accident of some kind. Though the decision was made as he was unconscious and he had no choice in the matter.
Becoming a cyborg was his best chance at survival. Due to the extensive damage to his skin, internal organs, and his body in general.
His skin had been replaced by an experimental synthetic skin. An artificial skin which was being developed as superior cybernetic armor. The name Cel was given to him after the appearance of his new skin, of which hexagonal scales appear. The hexagon looking much like a cell.
Cel's emotions and memories are surpresed, and thus he cannot remember the accident or his life prior to that. He simply takes orders to complete the objectives given to him as efficiently as possible, though every now and again he stops and wonders about things.
